Close to airport. Convenient free airport shuttle. Good communication. The shuttle driver texted me upon landing :) Very friendly staff. Spacious hotel, nice room, very nice bed. I missed a mini bar in the room, to chill some things I carried with me but at the reception it was no problem to keep my things in a fridge. Check out conveniently at noon and after the poolside area was still accessible and I enjoyed a massage before I used the free airport shuttle again to go to the airport at 4 pm. One thing was a pity. The 90’ massage although comparatively expensive for the neighborhood (mind you 310k rupiah is still only €17.50) was pretty bad. The therapist didn’t understand my request for little oil, stroke my left leg in a monotonous movement in what seemed to be forever. She handled her cell phone and me at the same time and made a call during the massage. But even this experience cannot downplay the very enjoyable and relaxed stay at Ibis Style Jakarta airport. An interesting detail is that the shuttle takes 35 min from the airport to the hotel and the same shuttle takes less than 6 minutes from the hotel to the airport. Terima kassi!

However we couldn’t for the love of God figure out how to get the shuttle from the airport to the hotel despite chatting with the front desk multiple times - the instructions are very hazy for a 1st time visitor. The hotel staff are otherwise very friendly and the breakfast spread is one of the best I’ve seen in Indonesia.
